I'm glad that as a sixth year that there's no major exams or tests to worry about. Gives me more time to focus on other things like when and how to officially ask Iona out Quidditch and Prefectly stuff. Which isn't to say that I've been slacking off in studying, because that'd be a kind of stupid thing to do.

How exactly do you ask someone out that you've been friends with forever and have recently started having... well... outings seems oldfashioned and could you really call it dates if you aren't actually dating the person? And hanging out just seems... well it suggests just have friendly feeling or something for someone. Which I do... but then I have more than friend feelings for Iona and... It's all rather confusing. It just seems so 'harsh' for lack of a better to word to just go 'So do you want to go out?' or 'So I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?' ... Just how do you ask a girl out without it sounding awkward. It's not like I could ask someone without getting teased for it.

This year seems to be going by so quickly already. After all the next dance isn't all that far away. Still it should be fun. First time I'm actually going... Oh I hope it doesn't turn into a diaster or anything.

This is so awkward. Why did I have to tell Iona that I liked her? ...why'd I have to tell her when she was drunk?
I've told her nothing's wrong, but really I'm just lying because it's better then making things more awkward? And it hasn't even been that long since she and jerkybastardguy Josh broke up, so I don't want to pressure her about anything... but at the same time I just wish I could do something about it despite any consequences.
Christmas holidays can't come soon enough.

Thanks to everyone for the presents (very funny, Noah. No really.) and the not so great... well it was good, but I don't think I was in the mood party. It was good fun.
Looking forward to the upcoming match. Should be a good one. And a great distraction too

I'll finally be of age tomorrow. Not that there'll be much I can do once I am seventeen. What with being at Hogwarts and all. Although it does mean that after the Christmas Hols I'll be able to take the Apparition class/test.
